The scheduled messages feature allows you to plan message delivery at a time that works for you. It’s available for all channels and pricing plans, regardless of your subscription type.
A delayed message can be scheduled by:
- Administrator,
- Manager,
- Supervisor.
You can schedule the sending of text messages on all channels and with all plans.
On WABA channels, you cannot schedule:
- Template code
- Template from the list
- Attachment
How to create a scheduled message
There are two ways to create a scheduled message.
First method:
1. Start typing your message in the input field.
2. Click the icon that appears to the right of the message.
3. In the pop-up window, select the date and time for sending.
4. Click “Schedule” to add your message to the scheduled queue. If you change your mind, click “Cancel” to reset the settings and return to the initial state.
5. If the message is scheduled, a “Calendar” icon will appear to the right of the input field.
6. To view or edit the queue of messages, click this icon to open the scheduled messages list.
Second method:
1. Click the queue icon (calendar) to the right of the input field to access the scheduled messages interface.
2. Start typing your message.
3. Select the date and time for sending by clicking the calendar.
4. Confirm your selection or click “Cancel” to exit without saving.
Actions with scheduled messages
In the scheduled messages interface, you can perform the following actions by hovering over a message:
1. Send the message immediately. Click the “Send Now” button to send the message to the chat. After sending, the message will be removed from the queue.
2. Edit the message text. Make changes to the text if you want to correct or add something.
3. Change the time and date of sending. Set a new time instead of the scheduled one.
4. Delete the message. Remove the message from the queue if it’s no longer relevant.
