Through the official Instagram, you can correspond in direct and reply to comments.
Is it possible to be the first to write?
No. You can write first in Direct from the app on your phone. When the client responds to your message – a 7-day dialog session will open. During this time, you can write to the client from the Instagram API channel.
Each incoming message from the client extends the dialog for another 7 days. If the 7 days have passed, you won’t be able to send the client a message.
How to reply to a post comment
A comment to a post will come as an incoming chat message. If you reply to a message with a quote – the message will go as a reply to a comment on the post.
You can only reply to a comment with a quote from Wazzup chats. It will not be possible to reply to a comment with a quote from amoCRM chats or Bitrix24 Open Lines.
How to reply to a comment on a post with a Direct message
If you reply to a comment without quoting – the message will go to the client in Direct.
Reply to a comment in Direct is possible only within seven days from the date of publication of the comment. And for each comment, you can send only one message in Direct, and then you have to wait for the client’s response.

How do I switch from Instagram Personal to the Instagram API?
- Delete the Instagram Personal channel and save your contacts and messages – that way your correspondence history stays in your Wazzup chats. Adding an Instagram API channel will not bring up old conversations.
If the channel has been unauthorized or unpaid for a while, he messages will not be loaded during this period either.
- Connect the new Instagram API channel according to the instructions.
Done! The channel will automatically be added to the same subscription that the Instagram Personal channel was in. Their cost is the same, so you don’t need to pay anything extra.
