How to connect integration with Pipedrive

First, connect the messenger to Wazzup in the "Channels" section — otherwise, you won't be able to set up the integration.

1. Open the "Integration with CRM" section in your Wazzup personal account. Select Pipedrive.

2. Insert your Pipedrive domain and click "Continue" → "Connect".

3. In the browser tab that opens, select "All users". Tick "Notify users via email as well" if you want your employees to receive emails about the connection.

4. Click "Next".

5. Scroll down the list of app permissions and click "Allow and Install".

What chats do employees see

New messages are visible to everyone seller. And the messages of current customers are different in Wazzup chats and Pipedrive chats.

  • In Wazzup chats, messages are displayed to employees depending on integration settings and responsibility for contact, lead, deal,
  • In the Messaging Inbox, all messages are visible to all employees.

Responsibility for conversations does not affect the visibility of chats in Wazzup — it is only affected by responsibility for contact, lead or deal.

As soon as an employee answers, they need to indicate in the contact card that they are responsible for it. This is necessary so that the chat is visible in Wazzup chats only for the seller who took the client. For other employees with the "Sales rep" role, the chat will disappear

How to create contacts, leads and deals

We do not automatically generate leads and deals in Pipedrive. If the salesperson decides they need to create a lead, they need to do it themselves in CRM.

When creating a contact and a lead, do not change the fields that are already filled. So the client's contact details will be correctly pulled into the contact and lead fields
