In Wazzup, you can edit and delete outgoing messages. This simplifies communication and helps quickly correct errors.
Editing outgoing messages
Available on channels:
- Telegram Personal
- Telegram Bot (except for messages with custom keyboards).
How to edit a message:
1. After sending a message, click on the three dots next to the message → “Edit”.
2. The selected message will appear in the text input field, allowing you to make changes. Make the necessary edits and confirm them by clicking the green checkmark to the right of the input field.
3. To cancel the changes, click the “X” in the top right corner.
4. Edited messages can be changed an unlimited number of times.
After editing, the message will display the status “Edited”, and a tooltip “Message before edits” will appear above it.
Editing media files
Editing messages containing media files is available on the following channels:
- Telegram Personal,
- Telegram Bot.
How to edit a media file:
1. Click on the three dots next to the message → select “Edit”.
2. A window will open for selecting a new media file from your device.
3. Once the new media is selected, the window will close, and the media will appear above the input field. Confirm the changes to send the edited message.

As with text messages, you have 15 minutes after sending to make changes.
Deleting outgoing messages
Deleting outgoing messages is available on the following channels:
- WhatsApp Web,
- Telegram Personal,
- Telegram Bot.
1. Click on the three dots next to the message → “Delete”.
2. In the pop-up window, confirm or cancel the deletion. Once deleted, the message cannot be restored.
3. After 24 hours, the delete button becomes inactive with the tooltip: “The message cannot be deleted: more than 24 hours have passed since it was sent.”
